We have been analyzing and unpacking exemplars of writing to find out what makes them effective. We had to work together to highlight the powerful parts and say why they were so effective.
We came across similes, onomatopoeia, repetition, gold verbs, showing not telling, conveying thoughts and feelings....and lots more!!
