First thing this morning, I met a whole bunch of Mahora students and their parents - what a busy morning! It was great to meet so many of you.
After we had made some introductions we had our Monday Meet Up in the Hall, and then we went outside to release some balloons and party poppers.
It was fantastic to meet all of the new students in Room 12, as it was my first day at Mahora. What a fabulous group of learners Room 12 are.
We had lots of fun today - learning about each other, playing games and making ice cream. We have done a little bit of learning about our new values - and we will continue to develop this.
Thanks,
Tessa Beaver (Room 12 teacher)

It sounded like a pretty neat first day! Making ice cream? Lucky kids. Great blog room 12. I'm looking forward to seeing all your learning and experiences on here. Benji's Mum Claire.
ReplyDeleteWas so nice to meet you Tessa and Jahrel couldn't have come home any happier and excited to be in room 12 with you :) I know my boy will try his best this year and help you out where needed. Thanks for giving my boy a massive start to his year as a year 5 at Mahora school.
